Registre Foncier du Québec
If you wish to know the history of a property in our region, you can consult the Registre Foncier du Québec, where the history of land transactions have indexed for every property in Quebec. The register is only available in French.
In 2022, we prepared a step-by-step instruction guide, Quebec Ancestral Treasure Hunt, which provides step-by-step instructions to access the land record information.
