The Chateauguay Valley Historical Society (CVHS) is an active association formed in 1961 for the purpose of encouraging education, research and preservation relating to the history of southwestern Quebec. It is a bicultural organization operating in a bilingual part of the country and the Society’s activities reflect this duality. CVHS holds regular meetings throughout the year featuring historical topics of local interest.
